With many foodstuffs containing animal products such as meat, dairy and egg, if these are being sent outside the EU then you may well need an ‘Export Health Certificate’ EHC signed by official veterinary surgeons such as ourselves. We are always happy to answer any queries on this aspect of the export to see if you might be able to proceed – there are over 1500 EHC available to send worldwide. We are associate members of the UKFDEA and in contact with the FDF and we also work closely with other industry bodies such as the Department for International Trade and the Chambers of Commerce.
